We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- •Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. You may optionally provide a nickname, bio, and profile photo.
- •Task Data: Tasks, memos, categories, energy settings, and other content you create within the App.
- •Preferences: Theme selection, language preference, and other App settings.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- •Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for diagnostics and service improvement.
- •Usage Data: App feature usage patterns, crash logs, and performance data to improve the App experience.
- •Local Storage Data: The App stores data locally on your device.
1.3 Subscription Information
- •Purchase Data: When you subscribe to Boostive Pro, purchase transactions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly collect or store your payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.).
- •Subscription Status: We receive and store your subscription status (active, expired, canceled) and subscription type (monthly, yearly) through our payment processor (RevenueCat) to provide premium features.
- •Transaction Identifiers: We may receive anonymized transaction identifiers from the app stores for the purpose of verifying your subscription status.
1.4 Information We Do NOT Collect
- ×We do not collect location data.
- ×We do not collect contacts or address book information.
- ×We do not directly collect or store financial or payment information (credit card numbers, bank details, etc.). All payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- ×We do not access your camera or photo library unless you explicitly choose to attach images to tasks or set a profile photo.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- ✓Provide the Service: Store and display your tasks, categories, energy data, and preferences.
- ✓Cloud Synchronization: Sync your data across devices when you create an account and enable cloud sync.
- ✓Authentication: Verify your identity and manage your account.
- ✓Service Improvement: Analyze usage patterns and crash data to improve App performance and user experience.
- ✓Communication: Send important service-related notices such as security alerts or Terms updates (no marketing emails).
We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Local Storage
By default, all your task data is stored only on your device. No data is transmitted to external servers unless you create an account and enable cloud sync.
3.2 Cloud Storage
When cloud sync is enabled, your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). Data is:
- ✓Encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL
- ✓Encrypted at rest on the server
- ✓Accessible only through your authenticated account
3.3 Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- ✓Secure password hashing (passwords are never stored in plain text)
- ✓HTTPS for all network communications
- ✓Access controls and authentication for server-side data
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:
- •Service Providers: We share data with the following service providers, solely for the purpose of providing the service:
- •Supabase: Cloud storage and authentication services.
- •RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment verification. RevenueCat receives anonymized transaction data to manage your subscription status.
- •Google AdMob: Advertisement delivery for free users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.
- •Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- •Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public, as required or permitted by law.
5. Data Retention
- •Active Account: Your data is retained as long as your account is active and you continue to use the App.
- •Account Deletion: When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
- •Local Data: Data stored locally on your device remains until you uninstall the App or manually clear the App data.
- •Backup Copies: Residual copies in encrypted backups may persist for up to 90 days after deletion before being automatically purged.
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- ✓Access: View your data through the App at any time.
- ✓Correction: Edit your profile information, tasks, and settings through the App.
- ✓Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data through Settings > Account Settings.
- ✓Data Portability: Your task data is stored in standard formats and can be exported upon request.
- ✓Withdraw Consent: You may stop using cloud sync at any time by logging out. Local-only usage does not transmit data to our servers.

7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If we discover that a child under 14 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it. 8. International Data Transfers
If you use the App outside the Republic of Korea, your data may be transferred to and processed in the Republic of Korea or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
9. Cookies and Tracking
The App does not use cookies. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Diagnostic data collected for crash reporting is anonymized and used solely for improving App stability.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other appropriate means. The updated policy will indicate the new effective date. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
